Ahead of Apple’s “Peek performance” keynote later today, Twitter had added a “like” animation to tweets that use the #AppleEvent hashtag, showing a special effect that reflects the event’s graphics before turning round and changing into the typical love heart icon when users “like” a tweet.
Users who tweet with the #AppleEvent hashtag will also see a special event hashflag, with Apple sending personalized Twitter reminders to those interested in watching the event live on Apple.com.
Today’s “Peek performance” keynote is expected to see Apple announce its rumored 5G iPhone SE, updated iPad Air with Center Stage camera, a more powerful Mac mini and an all-new external display.
