Twitter’s rumored new monthly subscription service has seemingly been confirmed by an update to Twitter’s App Store listing, which shows the app as featuring new In-App Purchases, namely “Twitter Blue” priced at $2.99 per month.
Twitter, which recently opened up its public verification program that allows users to apply for its highly sought-after blue checkmark badge on their profile, has been rumored to be working on a pay-monthly subscription for some time, with researcher Jane Manchun Wong revealing the service will offer users the ability to change the Twitter app icon, app theme, and unlock a new “Undo Tweet” option, which allows users to cancel a tweet from going public for a set period of time.
There’s no word on when the service will go live, but a launch seems imminent given the newly found App Store listing.
