iOS 14 beta 2 includes new Calendar and Clock icons

Apple today rolled out the second developer beta of iOS 14, building on from the initial early preview of the software released to testers two weeks ago at WWDC.

The update includes a handful of tweaks, including a new icon for family sharing in the Settings app, haptic feedback for pressing play, pause, next, and back buttons on the Now Playing screen in ‌Apple Music‌, the option to disable animated cover art in the Music app, and more.

A notable difference in iOS 14 beta 2 is the addition of a new Calendar icon with the day of the week abbreviated rather than spelled out, as well as a subtile update to the Clock icon that now uses slightly thicker hour and minute hands.

The update includes a new widget for the Files app, a fix for a bug which only showed Cupertino as the current location for the Home Screen Weather widget and Apple Pay ‌in Mac catalyst apps.
