Apple releases iOS 13.4.1, fixing FaceTime and Bluetooth bugs

Apple has released iOS 13.4.1 and iPadOS 13.4.1, fixing issues with FaceTime and Bluetooth, as well as providing performance improvements and security enhancements following the launch of iOS 13.4 a fortnight ago.

The update addresses an issue which cased devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier to be unable to participate in FaceTime calls from devices running iOS 13.4, and fixes an issue where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail.

  • Fixes an issue where devices running iOS 13.4 could not participate in FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier
  • Addresses a bug with the Settings app where choosing Bluetooth from the quick actions menu on the Home screen would fail

For iPad users, Apple is also addressing an issue on the iPad Pro that could cause the flashlight not to turn on after tapping the Flashlight button in Control Center or on the Lock screen.
