Apple has added its second-generation Apple Pencil to the official Certified Refurbished online store in the United States, offering the accessory for $109, a $20 discount off its original $129 retail price.
Introduced to accompany the Face ID-equipped 2018 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the 2nd-gen Apple Pencil packs many improvements compared to its predecessor. No longer do users have to plug the pencil in into the bottom of the iPad to charge, which to be honest was always kind of a pain.
The smart stylus-connects magnetically to the side of the iPad and charges wirelessly. This also allows you to connect it seamlessly to the tablet without the need to connect it to the USB-C port. In addition, users can easily change the tools they are working with by simply double tapping the Pencil.
As with all products sold through its official Certified Refurbished online store, Apple touts the Apple Pencil models are put through a rigorous refurbishment process prior to sale and are covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty.

Unlike the new models, the refurbished Apple Pencil 2 isn’t eligible for free custom laser engraving or gift wrapping. Apple warns supplies are limited.
