Apple’s rumored new iPad Pro with triple-lens camera system may not launch until March 2020

Apple’s rumored new iPad Pro with an iPhone 11 Pro-style rear triple-lens camera system may not arrive until March 2020, according to Korean website The Elec who claims LG will supply time-of-flight sensors for the devices.

The report clashes with earlier predictions that suggested Apple would refresh its iPad lineup in October alongside the release of an all-new 16-inch MacBook Pro, possibly featuring Face ID, edge-to-edge bezels and a redesigned casing.

Earlier this week, an alleged leak claimed to show a “final design mockup” of the forthcoming iPad Pro model from a source that has apparently been “repeatedly reliable about previous iPad hardware.”

The Elec goes on to claim that LG will supply 3D sensing rear camera sensors for 2020 iPhones, due to launch next September.
