Apple will likely release Apple Card, it’s new digital credit card to users within the United States with the release of iOS 12.4 expected this month.
Even though the service hasn’t yet officially launched, numerous reports have suggested Apple is gearing up to roll out Apple Card across the globe, with the latest claiming the service may expand into Canada in spring/summer 2020.
The Apple Post reported earlier this week that Apple had applied to trademark the word Apple Card and the figurative representation Card across Europe and Hong Kong, and now local source The Star highlights Apple has done the same in Canada.
If the report is to be believed, Apple may announce the expansion of the service at an event in March 2020, a year after the service was unveiled.
Apple Card is a new Apple-branded credit card created in partnership with investment banking company Goldman Sachs, which allows users to track spending and help manage bills within the Wallet app on iOS.
Announced in March, the service will offer much lower interest rates compared to traditional banks, with Apple rewarding users with financial cash-back called Daily Cash. – In addition to digital payments, Apple is also launching a stylish titanium physical Apple Card for regular chip-and-PIN payments. – The card has no CVV security code, no expiration date and no signature, making it the most secure bank card around.
