Apple launches Back to School promotion, offering free Beats with selected Mac and iPad models

Apple has kicked-off its annual Back to School promotion, offering qualifying students across the United States, Canada, Mexico and in many countries across Europe free Beats headphones when purchasing selected Mac and iPad models.

Apple is offering the choice of free Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones or BeatsX Earphones with the purchase of a new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, or iMac Pro.

Apple is also offering free BeatsX or Solo3 Wireless with the purchase of any new 11-inch or 12.9-inch iPad Pro or iPad Air, with the option to pay $150 USD or equivalent extra for Studio3 Wireless headphones.

The Mac mini is excluded, as is the 2017 13-inch MacBook Air.

The promotion has launched alongside the release of an updated MacBook Pro and lower-priced MacBook Air, both of which are now available to order from Apple.com.

Apple has added a True Tone display to the latest MacBook Air, reducing the price of the machine from $1,299 to $1,099, and down to $999 for qualifying students. As for the MacBook Pro, the refreshed entry-level model introduced today features 8th-generation Intel Core quad-core processors to offer up to two times faster performance, in addition to featuring Touch Bar and Touch ID and the Apple T2 security chip.

The benefits of Apple’s Back to School promotion are open to faculty members too. – The promotion ends on September 26, 2019.
