Apple introduces new entry-level 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, Touch ID and 8th-gen processors
Apple has introduced a new entry-level 13-Inch MacBook Pro to its line, featuring 8th-generation Intel Core quad-core processors to offer up to two times faster performance, in addition to featuring Touch Bar and Touch ID and the Apple T2 security chip.
The new model replaces the previous entry-level MacBook Pro, with Apple discontinuing all non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro models from its line, in addition to sunsetting the 12-inch MacBook.
Alongside the new MacBook Pro, Apple has released an updated MacBook Air which is now priced at $1,099, or $999 for qualifying students – down from its original price of $1,299.
Apple’s updated MacBook Pro is available to order online now from $1,299 in the United States. – The entry-level configuration features a 1.4GHz Intel 8th-generation processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD.
