Apple expected to lease new office in Seattle with space for 4,200 employees

Apple is planning to lease a large office complex in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood, neighbouring Amazon according to reports from the Puget Sound Business Journal who say the new site will offer space for up to 4,200 employees.

The tenancy would see Apple occupy around 630,000 square feet of office space at the two-tower development at 333 Dexter Avenue claims the report, with the company expected to use the location to focus on Siri enhancements and upgrades to its range of services.

In late 2018, Apple announced plans to establish a new site in Seattle alongside a new $1B campus in Austin, Texas.
