Apple has revealed Apple Arcade, the world’s first multi-platform subscription gaming service that allows users unlimited access to a range of Apple-exclusive gaming titles for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
With a “single subscription,” Apple touts Apple Arcade will offer subscribers unlimited access to 100 new gaming titles, all of which will feature no adverts or additional in-app purchases, and all can be played offline.
Apple is adding a new section to the App Store to allow subscribers to download content included within Apple Arcade to their iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Each game will sync between devices to allow players to pick-up where they left off.
Apple hasn’t shared official pricing for the Apple Arcade service, simply stating the service will launch later this fall in 150+ unspecified countries.
