Apple closing App Store Connect from December 23 to December 27 for the holidays

Within an update posted to App Store Connect today, Apple has announced that from December 23 to December 27 the department responsible for reviewing new submissions to the App Store and updates to existing apps will be closed for the holidays.

The annual closure means developers looking to release festive updates or seasonal pricing discounts must soon begin submitting their apps for review to avoid lengthy review delays, or risk missing releasing their apps prior to the holidays.

Although App Store Connect, formally iTunes Connect will be closed, other App Store Connect and developer account features will remain available.

The busiest season on the App Store is almost here. Make sure your apps are up to date and ready for the holidays. New apps and app updates will not be accepted December 23 to 27 (Pacific Time), so any releases should be submitted, approved, and scheduled in advance. Other App Store Connect and developer account features will remain available.
