Tim Cook takes selfies with customers purchasing iPhone XR at Milan Apple Store

Tim Cook has greeted customers at Apple’s newly opened flagship Piazza Liberty store in Milan, Italy to celebrate the in-store launch of the iPhone XR this morning.

Local reports claim the line outside of the Piazza Liberty store was rather quiet, suggesting many had opted for at-home deliveries or had chosen a specific collection time rather than waiting for hours on end outside the store. Customers who were at the store have started to share pictures on Instagram and Twitter of selfies with Tim Cook.

Within a tweet, Tim Cook shared that Milan is one of his favorite cities, sending best wishes to those enjoying their new iPhone XR.

Buongiorno Piazza Liberty! Milan is one of my favorite cities and I am very happy to be here with you today. Around the world, we hope everyone is enjoying the new iPhone XR!
