Apple has partnered with McDonald’s to offer customers who order food through the McDonald’s iOS app in the United States a free portion of medium fries with their order when paying using Apple Pay over the two remaining Fridays of April.
The McDonald’s promotion is just one of the collaborations that Apple has done with retailers recently which have seen customers who pay using Apple Pay enjoy exclusive rewards, benefits or freebies.
The oddly worded email suggests the promotion was intended to launch at the beginning of April, with Apple saying free fries are available “every Friday in April” despite there only being two more remaining before the end of the month.
Although the promotion is exclusive to McDonald’s in the United States, the email sent to Apple Pay users across then U.S. today touts the service’s support in other fast food restaurants, including KFC, Chick-fil-A, and Subway.
