Tim Cook continues his European tour, meeting with Apple Store furniture suppliers in Germany

Continuing his European tour, Tim Cook has left France and headed to Germany to meet with Dula, the manufacture of the fixtures and fittings used in Apple’s retail locations.

First surprising Apple Store employees in an unannounced visit in Marseille, France, then meeting with Paris-based fashion designer, Julien Fournié and VizEat co-founders Camilla Rumani and Jean-Michel Petit, Tim is en route to Scotland where he shall be awarded an honorary degree from the University of Glasgow at a special event later this week.

As the award ceremony approaches, Tim Cook is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom over the next couple of hours. It’s unclear if Tim shall visit Apple’s recently renovated flagship Regent Street store which was Apple’s first location within the U.K. when it launched in 2004.

Open strictly to staff and students only, Tim shall be taking to the stage at Bute Hall, University of Glasgow between 18:00pm – 19:00pm, giving attendees the opportunity to take part in a ‘Fireside Chat’ and Q&A.
