Apple has unveiled its 2026 Designers of Tomorrow showcase, highlighting four emerging designers and studios whose work blends traditional craft with modern technology.
The exhibition, created in collaboration with Design Miami and curated by Rodman Primack, returns for a second year with a new theme centered on “presence” and the role physical objects can play in holding people’s attention.
Apple says this year’s featured designers are Salem S. Charabi, Isabel Rower, Yoonjeong Lee, and Parafernalia, the studio founded by Genki Matsumura and Sebastián Zorrilla.
The projects span lighting, furniture and sculptural design, with Apple products playing a role throughout the creative process. Charabi used a MacBook Pro for sketching and 3D modeling, Rower used iPhone, AirPods Pro and MacBook Pro, while Lee worked with iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Parafernalia used iPhone, iPad Pro, Messages, FaceTime and iCloud to collaborate between Monterrey and Mexico City.
The exhibition opens at Hôtel de Maisons in Paris and is intended to show how Apple devices can fit into creative workflows across different disciplines and cultures.
The showcase arrives as Apple continues to place greater emphasis on design across both its products and wider creative programs. The Apple Post recently reported that Apple CEO John Ternus has been taking a more hands-on role with the company’s design teams.
