Apple could be preparing to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in Silver, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue, according to newly leaked parts shared ahead of the company’s expected September unveiling.
As reported by MacRumors, Leaker Sonny Dickson has shared an image showing three differently colored SIM card trays that he claims are intended for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The parts appear in Silver, a deep red Dark Cherry finish and a lighter Sky Blue shade, potentially offering an early indication of Apple’s final color choices.
The leak adds to conflicting reports surrounding this year’s Pro finishes. A recent report suggested Apple was considering Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black, while other rumors have pointed to Silver and darker gray options. Dickson says the three colors shown in his latest image are the only iPhone 18 Pro colors he has encountered in recent months.
Although Dickson previously shared iPhone 18 Pro dummy units that included a Black model, he has suggested that black dummy devices are routinely produced during the development cycle and do not necessarily represent a finish Apple intends to release.
Apple currently sells the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange, Silver and Deep Blue. The company notably moved away from offering its flagship iPhones in a traditional black or dark gray finish with the iPhone 17 Pro generation, and the latest leak suggests that decision could continue for another year.
The presence of SIM card trays also reflects Apple’s different regional hardware configurations. iPhones sold in markets including the United States and Canada rely on eSIM, while physical SIM trays remain available on models sold across a number of other regions, including Europe.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its September event next week, when the company is also rumored to introduce its first foldable iPhone, widely referred to as the iPhone Ultra.
Until Apple makes the new lineup official, the final color selection remains unconfirmed, but the latest component leak suggests Silver, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue could be the three finishes buyers see at launch.
