Apple releases watchOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and HomePod Software 26.6

Alongside the release of iOS 26.6, Apple has also made watchOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and HomePod Software 26.6 available to users, delivering another round of bug fixes, security updates, and performance improvements across its platforms.

watchOS 26.6, the sixth update to watchOS 26, includes bug fixes and security updates, according to Apple’s release notes. As with iOS 26.6, the update focuses on improving stability and reliability rather than introducing new features.

iPadOS 26.6 mirrors the iPhone update, bringing bug fixes, security updates, and an optimization to the Spotlight index to help prepare iPads for the launch of iPadOS 27 later this year.

For Apple TV users, tvOS 26.6 is also now available. No new features were discovered during the beta testing period, suggesting the update primarily delivers bug fixes, performance improvements, and other under-the-hood refinements.

Apple has also released visionOS 26.6 for Apple Vision Pro. According to the company’s release notes, the update includes bug fixes and security improvements, while also optimizing the Spotlight index ahead of the release of visionOS 27, helping to ensure a smoother upgrade experience later this year.

Finally, HomePod Software 26.6 is now available for HomePod and HomePod mini. Apple has not published any feature details for the update, which is expected to focus on minor bug fixes, security enhancements, and overall performance improvements.

All of today’s software updates are available now and can be downloaded through their respective software update menus on compatible devices.
