Apple has increased the price of its Apple Music and Apple One subscriptions in the United States and a number of other countries, marking the first price rise for Apple Music in almost four years.
Starting today, the Apple Music Individual plan now costs $11.99 per month, up from $10.99. The Family plan has increased to $19.99 per month from $16.99, while the Student plan now costs $6.99 per month, up from $5.99.
Apple Music gives subscribers access to a catalogue of more than 100 million songs, thousands of curated playlists, Apple Music Radio, live radio stations, music videos, lyrics, Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, lossless audio, offline downloads, and personalised recommendations across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, HomePod, CarPlay, and other supported devices.
Apple has also increased the price of its Apple One bundles. The Individual plan remains unchanged at $19.95 per month. However, the Family plan now costs $27.95 per month, up from $25.95, while the Premier plan has increased to $39.95 per month from $37.95.
Apple One bundles multiple Apple services into a single subscription, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+, with the Premier tier also including Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ in supported regions. Apple says the bundle offers savings compared to subscribing to each service individually.
