Apple has released a new firmware update for AirPods Max 2, bringing the headphones to version 8E258.
As is often the case with AirPods firmware updates, Apple has not provided release notes or details on what’s included in the new software.
AirPods Max 2 launched as a relatively modest update to the original AirPods Max, replacing Lightning with USB-C and adding support for newer audio features and improved connectivity, while largely keeping the same overall design introduced in 2020.
