Your Apple Watch can help you keep track of your pregnancy, including your gestational age, symptoms, and key health insights, all linked through the Health app on your iPhone.
To get started, you’ll first need to log your pregnancy on your iPhone. Open the Health app, tap Search, then go to Cycle Tracking. Scroll down to “Factors,” tap the add button, and select Pregnancy. From there, you can enter details like your last menstrual period, estimated due date, gestational age, or IVF transfer date.
Once set up, your Apple Watch will begin showing relevant information in the Cycle Tracking app. You can open the app on your watch at any time to view your pregnancy summary, including how far along you are and your expected due date.
Your Apple Watch also lets you log symptoms such as bleeding and other changes, helping you build a clearer picture of your health throughout pregnancy.
Apple adjusts certain health features during pregnancy to better reflect changes in your body. For example, Walking Steadiness notifications may be emphasised later in pregnancy, while Cardio Fitness alerts may be reduced during and shortly after pregnancy. You may also be prompted to review heart rate notification thresholds.
Optional features can include reminders for mental health check-ins and adding your pregnancy details to your Medical ID.
By combining the Health app on iPhone with the Cycle Tracking app on Apple Watch, Apple aims to give you a more personalised and accurate view of your health during pregnancy, all in one place.
