Apple only unveiled the MacBook Neo on Wednesday, but some configurations of the new MacBook are already no longer available for launch-day delivery.
According to Apple’s online store, certain models have started slipping beyond the initial release date of March 11. The blush base model in particular now shows estimated delivery windows between March 16 and March 23, suggesting early demand has already outpaced Apple’s first wave of inventory.
The base blush configuration appearing to sell out first could indicate that the colour is proving especially popular among buyers. However, it may also simply reflect Apple allocating fewer units of that specific colour at launch compared with others such as silver, indigo or citrus.
MacBook Neo is Apple’s newest entry-level Mac, starting at $599, and features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, the A18 Pro chip, and up to 16 hours of battery life.
Pre-orders opened on March 4, with the first deliveries and in-store availability beginning March 11, though buyers ordering certain configurations may now face slightly longer wait times.
