iPhone 17e, MacBook Neo, MacBook Air and more now available to pre-order

Apple has opened pre-orders for its new hardware announced this week, including the iPhone 17e, MacBook Neo, MacBook Air, and updated MacBook Pro models. All of the newly announced devices can now be ordered as of today, with availability beginning March 11.

One of the biggest launches this week is MacBook Neo, Apple’s most affordable laptop ever. Starting at $599, the device features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display and runs on the A18 Pro chip — the same class of processor originally developed for the iPhone lineup. Apple says the laptop can deliver up to 16 hours of battery life, and it is available in four colours: blush, indigo, silver and citrus.

Apple also introduced a refreshed MacBook Air powered by the new M5 chip. Available in 13-inch and 15-inch models, the updated laptop brings faster performance, improved AI capabilities and double the starting storage compared to the previous generation. The MacBook Air with M5 starts at $1,099 and continues to offer Apple’s thin, fanless design with long battery life.

For professional users, Apple has updated the MacBook Pro lineup with new models powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The new processors deliver major gains in graphics performance, AI workloads and overall computing power, while base storage now starts at 1TB on many configurations.

Apple’s iPad lineup also received an upgrade with the new iPad Air, now powered by the M4 chip. The updated iPad Air is available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes and brings faster performance, improved Apple Intelligence capabilities and enhanced connectivity.

On the iPhone side, Apple announced the iPhone 17e, a more affordable member of the iPhone 17 family. The device features the A19 chip, a 48-megapixel camera system and double the starting storage at 256GB, while maintaining a $599 starting price.
