Apple has rolled out a new wave of software updates across its platforms, including iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, macOS Tahoe 26.3, watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, visionOS 26.3 and HomePod Software 26.3.
The updates focus largely on performance improvements, security patches and general stability enhancements.
The standout addition in iOS 26.3 is a new tool designed to help users move from an Apple device to Android. Transfers can now be initiated during the device setup process, allowing data to be moved without requiring users to manually download additional apps from Apple or Google.
The transfer feature supports moving photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, contacts and phone numbers.
Apple said the updates also address dozens of security vulnerabilities across its operating systems. Among them is a fix for what the company described as an “extremely sophisticated attack” that targeted specific individuals on versions of iOS prior to iOS 26.
At least one of the vulnerabilities was known to have been actively exploited, according to Apple’s security notes.
As with previous releases, Apple recommends that users update their devices to ensure they are protected against known security risks.
