Apple’s planned iPad mini with an OLED display may arrive later than expected, with a reputable leaker suggesting the device is unlikely to launch before fall 2026.
According to Weibo leaker Instant Digital, “the earliest” the new model could be released is in the third or fourth quarter of next year, though no additional details were shared. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has previously said only that the update could come “as early as next year.”
The OLED transition is expected to raise the device’s price. The current A17 Pro-equipped iPad mini starts at $499, and the new model could reportedly cost around $100 more.
