Apple may be preparing to launch a new HomePod mini and Apple TV later this month, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who says Apple Store employees have been told to expect an overnight update to in-store marketing materials on the evening of November 11 — a move often tied to new product launches.
While the timing could point to the release of new hardware, Gurman cautions that the refresh may simply relate to holiday season marketing updates, as Apple prepares stores for the busy shopping period.
In a previous report, Gurman said the next-generation HomePod mini will gain support for Apple Intelligence and the upgraded Siri experience, alongside a faster chip to replace the current S5 processor. Other expected improvements include enhanced audio quality, a new ultra-wideband chip, and a redesigned Wi-Fi/Bluetooth system for more reliable connectivity.
Apple has also reportedly tested new colour options, including a striking red version. The current HomePod mini lineup includes blue, yellow, midnight, white, and orange.
