Apple has officially discontinued its Clips app for iPhone and iPad. Originally launched in 2017, the app allowed users to create short videos by combining video clips, images, and photos with voice-based titles, music, filters, and graphics—tailored for sharing on social media platforms.
While existing users can continue to use the app and redownload it from their purchase history in the App Store, it is no longer available for new downloads.
As spotted by MacRumors, the app has been removed from the App Store. A support document on Apple’s website confirms that Clips is no longer being updated and became unavailable for new users as of yesterday.
