Pre-orders for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max opened less than two hours ago, and demand is already stretching delivery times for some models.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is proving the hardest mode to secure. Many configurations in the U.S. have already slipped to delivery dates one to three weeks beyond launch day, pushing some orders into mid-October.
Apple’s website still shows limited in-store pickup availability for certain versions on September 19, though stock varies by location.
The smaller iPhone 17 Pro is holding up better, with most models still on track for day-one delivery. The standard iPhone 17 and the ultra-thin iPhone Air also remain widely available for September 19.
