iPhone 16 Pro to feature larger Action button, new Capture button, more

Apple will increase the size of the Action button on the iPhone 16 Pro, as well as adding an all-new Capture button to the side of the device, according to a report from 91mobiles who shared an alleged iPhone 16 Pro CAD file claiming to show details of the next-generation iPhone.

According to the site, which claims to have “received the dimensions of the upcoming device,” the iPhone 16 Pro will measure at 149.6×71.4×8.4mm compared to the iPhone 15 Pro, which measures at 146.6x 70.6×8.25mm. The display size of the new device is said to increase from 6.1-inches on the iPhone 15 Pro to 6.3-inches.

The most notable addition to the iPhone 16 Pro is the rumored new Capture button, which will be located on the lower right side of the device.

The button is expected to offer users access to camera controls, opening Camera app whenever it is pressed. Reports have previously suggested that the capture button will be able to respond to both touch and pressure, allowing users to “zoom in and out by swiping left and right on it.”

Though it’s early for iPhone 16 rumors, reports suggest the new device might include larger displays, upgraded camera systems, and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities.
