Rumors from Korea suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro Max might boast the lengthiest battery life ever seen in an iPhone. According to supply chain sources cited by Naver user “yeux1122” in a recent post, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to showcase several enhancements, including a larger display size, increasing from 6.1-inches to 6.3-inches.

The increased chassis size and internal modifications are said to enable the device to offer enhanced optical zoom capabilities, potentially incorporating the tetraprism 5x telephoto camera introduced in the previous iPhone 15 Pro Max. Despite the size increase, the user notes that it will likely be subtly perceptible compared to the current model, though the device is anticipated to have larger bezels than Samsung’s Galaxy S24. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a battery of similar or larger size compared to its predecessor.

Notably absent from a recent report detailing the battery capacities of the next-generation iPhones, the iPhone 16 Pro was addressed in a subsequent post by the Naver user. As reported by MacRumors, The post indicated that various components of the iPhone 16 Pro would benefit from improved power consumption. Most notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to house a larger battery, potentially achieving the longest-ever battery life in an iPhone. While the current iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts a 29-hour battery life, the iPhone 16 Pro Max may surpass the 30-hour mark for the first time.

Reports from the previous week suggested a 5% increase in battery size for the iPhone 16 Pro Max compared to its predecessor, reaching a total of 4,676 mAh. While this increment is relatively small, potential efficiency improvements could contribute to an overall boost in the device’s battery life.
