Apple has opened the doors to its newest store in China — Apple MixC Wenzhou, located in the city of Wenzhou, marking the first opening in the city for Apple, and the fourth in China’s Zhejiang province.
The new Apple Store has unique new fixtures, including some made using plant-based materials, to make the store one of the most sustainable in China. The ceiling is made of biogenic acoustic panels and baffles, minimising the dependency of metals, while the flooring is created with biopolymer materials, reducing the need for chemical resins.
Like other stores, Apple MixC Wenzhou features avenues where customers can shop the latest iPhones, iPads, Macs and Apple Watches, with the store also featuring a Genius Bar counter for face-to-face appointments for hands-on technical and hardware support.
Apple MixC Wenzhou also is home to a dedicated Apple Pickup station, for customers who order online and collect in-store.
