In preparation for next week’s ‘Wonderlust’ special event, where Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 9, next-generation Apple Watch Ultra, and more, the official @Apple account on X, formally Twitter, is offering to send personalized event reminders to those interested in watching the event live on Apple.com.
As seen ahead of previous events, Apple is promoting a tweet that invites users to tap the Favorite button on X to receive a reminder from @Apple ahead of the main event next Wednesday.
Tapping the Favorite button on X sees users receive an immediate thank you message from Apple, with the main reminder usually being shared 5-10 minutes before the event itself, kicking off on September 12 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT).
As well as the personalized reminders, Apple has created a special ‘hashflag’ custom icon on X for the #AppleEvent hashtag, which shows whenever a user tweets using #AppleEvent in their post.
