Apple Pay launches in Vietnam

Apple has today expanded Apple Pay to users in Vietnam, marking the latest expansion to the service which allows users to securely make payments using their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, without the need for physical credit or debit cards.

Apple Pay was first launched on October 20, 2014 and can be used with cards issued in 81 countries and territories worldwide.

Beginning today, customers of Transbank, ACB, Sacombank, Vietcomback, and VPBank can set up Apple Pay through the Wallet app on their iPhone, or using the Settings app on iPad and Mac.
