Apple opens new store at London’s Battersea Power Station

Apple has officially opened the doors to its newest store in the UK, located at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station, which has undergone an extensive overhaul to convert the building from a former coal-fired power station to a high-end shopping, commercial and residential development.

Designed by UK studio Foster + Partners, the store is set on the ground floor of the Battersea Power Station shopping center, featuring the latest Apple Store fixtures and fittings, including a dedicated Apple Pickup station for customers to order online and collect their devices in-store, and shop the latest iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, and Apple TV lineups on Apple’s iconic display tables and wooden avenues.

Apple Battersea is Apple’s 40th store in the United Kingdom, located below where the iPhone maker will soon house 3,000 corporate employees in 500,000 square feet worth of office space above the shopping complex to form its new UK headquarters.

Apple is yet to confirm when its corporate headquarters will open at Battersea Power Station, with the company’s CEO, Tim Cook, saying last year that the opening would take place in early 2023, representing a “commitment to Apple’s future in the UK.
