New Dortmund Apple Store rumored to open in Germany in 2025

Apple is rumored to be opening a new Apple Store in Dortmund, Germany in 2025, according to Bloomberg.

In a report outlining the iPhone maker’s plans to open 50+ new or remodeled stores worldwide through 2027, Bloomberg claims that plans are underway to open a flagship store in Dortmund around October 2025, although plans are subject to change.

Apple has 16 retail stores in Germany, with Apple Rosenthaler Straße, the company’s newest store in the country, opening its doors in 2021.

The report doesn’t outline what to expect from the new store, although the location will most definitely feature the company’s latest store design that includes a large Today at Apple area for hosting in-store live creative sessions, modern wall-mounted displays promoting Apple services, the company’s iconic wooden display tables, and possibly a dedicated Apple Pickup area, where customers will be able to collect orders placed online.

Germany is Apple’s eighth-largest retail region, featuring over a dozen sites.
