Apple reportedly opening new Apple Store in Madrid, Spain this year

Apple is reportedly planning to open the doors to a new retail store in Madrid, Spain later this year, located at the La Vaguada Shopping Center.

According to Bloomberg, who detailed the store as part of a wider report outlining the iPhone maker’s plans to open 50+ new or remodeled stores worldwide through 2027, Apple La Vaguada is expected to be the company’s next major new store in Europe, likely being the only new Apple Store to open in Spain over the next four years.

The report doesn’t outline what to expect from the new store, although the location will most definitely feature the company’s latest store design that includes a large Today at Apple area for hosting in-store live creative sessions, modern wall-mounted displays promoting Apple services, the company’s iconic wooden display tables, and possibly a dedicated Apple Pickup area, where customers will be able to collect orders placed online.

Apple currently has 11 stores in Spain, with its newest store, Apple Puerta Del Sol, opening in 2014.
