Apple considering relocating Apple Store in Reading, UK to new remodeled space

Apple is reportedly considering relocating its existing Apple Store in Reading, the United Kingdom to a new remodeled space, according to a report from Bloomberg, which says Apple will open and refurbish a total of seven stores across the UK through 2025.

Apple’s store in Reading, named Apple The Oracle, is one of the few Apple Stores yet to be updated with the iPhone maker’s modern retail store design, with the store currently featuring the original Genius Bar design, without a large Today at Apple display or updated store displays.

The report suggests that the relocated Reading Apple Store could open in February 2024, although plans and timings are subject to change.

Apple is said to be considering a total of nine new and remodeled Apple Stores across Europe through 2027.

The UK is Apple’s third-biggest retail market, home to about 40 stores.
