iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus rumored to feature textured glass finish with cyan-green color option

Apple is planning to add a new cyan-green color to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus lineup, according to a Weibo post that claims that the two devices could have a “frosted glass” back design, similar to what’s seen on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

According to the post, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will add a new color to the mix — cyan-green. The color is described as a greenish-blue, with the leaker suggesting that the color could be similar to that seen with the green-colored iPhone 12.

As for the materials used for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, the source suggests that the new models will have a “frosted glass” back design, matching the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, although no further details were shared.

Apple is expected to bring the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro to all four iPhone 15 models this year, making the feature available for the first time not just on the ‘Pro’ series models. Previous reports have claimed that Apple won’t bring ProMotion or its Always-On Display feature to the regular iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus.
