15.5-inch MacBook Air rumored to launch in ‘early April’

Apple could launch its rumored new, larger 15.5-inch MacBook Air as soon as “early April,” according to Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Young, who claims that Apple suppliers started panel production for the new machine this month.

In a tweet on Monday, Young says “15.5-inch MacBook Air started panel production this month,” adding “We would expect an early April launch.”

This isn’t the first time that a larger 15.5-inch MacBook Air has been rumored. Last year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman noted that he expects Apple to unveil a larger MacBook Air in early 2023, noting how the machine will be based off the current 13.6-inch MacBook Air, which features a Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging, and more in four finishes — midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.

Young has also previously commented on the rumored new MacBook Air, saying in December that the machine could launch in the spring of 2023.
