Apple has today released watchOS 8.6 and tvOS 15.5, bringing new features and updates to the Apple Watch and Apple TV.
watchOS 8.6 expands the Apple Watch’s ECG functionality and irregular heart rhythm detection feature to users in Mexico, with tvOS 15.5 seemingly focusing on improvements and bug fixes, with no new front-facing features found during the beta cycle that started in April.
Alongside new updates for Apple Watch and Apple TV today, Apple is also releasing iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 bringing minor upgrades and improvements including the renaming of iTunes Pass to “Apple Account Card” in the Wallet app, new Request and Send buttons in Wallet for Apple Cash and new Wi-Fi signal indicators in the Home app.
