Apple’s new M1 iPad Air with 5G and Center Stage camera now available for pre-order

Pre-orders for Apple’s new M1 iPad Air with 5G and Center Stage camera are now underway on the online Apple Store and Apple Store app, with deliveries and in-store availability beginning on Friday, March 18.

Apple announced the new M1 iPad Air with 5G at Tuesday’s “Peek performance” special event, where it was touted that the device now features an Ultra Wide 12MP front camera with Center Stage, an 8-core CPU that delivers up to 60 percent faster performance, and up to 2x faster graphics performance compared to the previous iPad Air, peak 5G speeds of up to 3.5Gbps and a 2x faster USB-C port for data transfer.

The device is available with a starting price of $599 (US) and Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at $749 (US). The new iPad Air, in 64GB and 256GB configurations, comes in space gray, starlight, pink, purple, and blue finishes.
