Apple confirms ongoing issue with in-store purchases with Apple Card

Apple has confirmed it is investigating an ongoing issue making in-store purchases with Apple Card.

Apple’s System Status webpage notes that some users may not be able to make in-store purchases with Apple Card using Apple Pay, with the issue first reported at 12:30 am PT.

Today’s outage follows after Apple Card was unavailable for over 5 hours at the beginning of the month, leaving customers unable to manage Apple Cards in the Wallet app, make payments, and see recent transactions.

Apple hasn’t offered any explanation as to what’s causing today’s outage, however, the acknowledgment online shows engineers are investigating the issue.
