Apple releases Fitness app on iPad

Apple has brought its Fitness app to iPad as part of today’s launch of the Apple Fitness+ subscription service.

Shown now on the App Store, the Fitness app for iPad offers access to guided workouts from Apple’s team of trainers as part of the Apple Fitness+ service, priced at $9.99 (US) per month after a one-month free trial.

Although the app is now on the App Store, users are reporting issues trying to download it. An error message reading “This app requires specific features not available on this device.” is showing to large numbers of iPad users trying to install the application, which is making Apple Fitness+ unaccessible.

Apple will presumably be working on a fix for this issue straight away, although the company is yet to confirm when the Fitness app will be available to download on iPad.
