Apple to release Mac Pro in December, according to reports

Apple will release its powerhouse Mac Pro in December, according to a new report from Bloomberg.

Unveiled earlier in the year at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, the new stainless steel cheese grater-like machine is the first new Mac Pro since 2013, using workstation-class Xeon processors with up to 28 cores with 64 PCI Express lanes, up to 1.5TB of high-performance memory, eight PCIe expansion slots, and at the high-end, dual Radeon Pro Vega II Duo GPUs.

The release of the Mac Pro will also see the launch of the new Apple Pro Display XDR, a 6K 32-inch display priced at $4,999. Mac Pro will be the most powerful Mac ever made, with Apple also offering a special rack-mount version of the machine.

Mac Pro will be priced from $5,999.
