Apple has silently introduced a new $29 AppleCare+ plan that covers AirPods and Beats, offering an extended two-year warranty to cover two incidents of accidental damage and support from the AppleCare team.
Those wanting to purchase AppleCare+ can do so when buying new AirPods or Beats from Apple, or within 60 days of the purchase date, although customers wanting to purchase AppleCare+ at a later date will be required to visit an Apple Store to sign-up.
AppleCare+ for Headphones does not include any claims for theft or loss. Coverage is available for the following devices:

- Beats Pro
- Beats Solo3 Wireless
- Beats Studio3 Wireless
- BeatsX
- Powerbeats Pro
- Powerbeats3 Wireless
