Apple launches redesigned online iCloud interface in new web beta

Apple has launched a new online beta for iCloud.com, introducing a redesigned home screen, Reminders app, and more.

The beta, available through beta.icloud.com, was first pointed out by Federico Viticci on Twitter. Apple has removed the dynamic blue bubble background and redesigned the main launch screen to include smaller web-app icons, a plain white background and a time based greeting.

Most of the beta iCloud apps are identical to the current versions available through iCloud.com, with Mail, Contacts, Photos, Notes, iCloud Drive, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Find Friends, and Find iPhone unchanged.

Apple’s new Reminders app has been given a redesign to match the all-new design coming to iOS, iPadOS and macOS this year. Notably, the beta still includes “Find My iPhone,” as opposed to the new “Find My” application.

The new version of iCloud.com will likely go live following the launch of iOS 13 and Apple’s other new software this fall.
