Apple releases third iOS 13 public beta

Apple has released its third iOS 13 public beta, allowing non-developers to download and test the pre-release software prior to its official public launch in fall.

The public beta release today comes after Apple rolled out its fourth developer beta installment of iOS 13 on Wednesday, bringing updates to the Share Sheet, minor tweaks to the Photos app, and a fix for the iCloud Keychain security flaw which allowed access to passwords stored in iCloud without the need of either Face ID or Touch ID authentication.

Users who currently have the public beta of iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 installed can update via the Settings app.

Update: Apple has also released the third beta of its upcoming macOS Catalina update to public testers.
