Apple has released ‘Color Flood’, a new ad promoting the iPhone XR’s vivid Liquid Retina display and choice of vibrant black, white, red, blue, yellow, and coral colour options.
Starting off with a deserted town, the ad shows hundreds of cast members flooding through the streets wearing colored jumpsuits, brightening the once dull scene turning it into a colorwash of eye-catching hues. The advert shows the characters jumping down steps, sliding over car hoods and even breaking down fences.
The colorful Color Flood ad plays to the song “Come Along” by Cosmo Sheldrake, running for 1 minute. Eagle eyed viewers have spotted the van shown in the commercial has the licence plate “I-XR0941,” a reference to the iPhone XR and the 9:41 AM time which is used on Apple’s marketing/iPhone imagery.
Apple closes the ad with the tagline “Make room for color”, highlighting the iPhone XR’s Liquid Retina display.
