After pre-orders began on Friday, some early iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch Series 4 order statuses have started to change to ‘Preparing to Ship’ ahead of the first wave of deliveries and in-store pick-ups scheduled to begin next Friday on September 21st 2018.
In usual fashion, not long after pre-orders began shipping estimates across the world for the new devices quickly began to slip back into October. At this point, customers who see their status has change to ‘Preparing to Ship’ are unable to modify or cancel their purchase.
Judging by estimated delivery times, the new Gold iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were hugely popular, followed by the Space Grey/Space Gray iPhone models.
