Apple Pay expands into Poland as previously reported

Apple Pay - Poland - Launch

As reported yesterday, Apple has expanded its contactless payment service, Apple Pay to customers in Poland banking with BGZ BNP Paribas, Bank Zachodni WBK, Alior Bank, Raiffeisen Polbank, Nest Bank, mBank, Bank Pekao and Getin Bank.

Customers in Poland can now set-up Apple Pay through their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. iOS users can simply open Settings and add a Credit or Debit Card through the Wallet & Apple Pay option with an iPhone SE and upwards.

Despite the launch of the service in Poland today, Apple’s person-to-person payment service, Apple Pay Cash, still remains exclusive to customers in the United States. While an expansion of the service is expected later this year, so far Apple has remained quiet and not shared any details of the rollout.
